Ombre Brows also known as Powder Brows are performed using a hand held digital machine to create tiny punctures in the skin which resemble powdered make up effect. The brows will have a softer front and become darker towards the tail of the brow, spare areas will be covered resulting in an overall fuller and more defined looking brow. 

Micro blading is a semi-permanent cosmetic treatment whereby pigment is applied to the eyebrow area with a manual tool to mimic natural hair strokes. 

Ombre Brows can last anywhere from 2+ years depending on the skin, and lifestyle  those who may use regular sunbeds may require additional colour boosts to maintain the brows.

It is important to remember that our skin is unique and we each heal differently, so results can vary from person to person. 

Some medical conditions and medications may prevent you from being eligible for permanent makeup (PMU) Please ensure you declare any medication you are taking at your consultation or on the online consent form prior to booking in, this is to ensure you are a suitable candidate. You may need to provide a doctor’s consent note if we are unsure about the effects your medical history may have on your treatment.

You must not have this procedure if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. This treatment is only permitted for those over the age of 18 years old. 

We would always advise on having a patch test however it is not mandatory and a waiver form can be signed at your own discretion. Patch tests must be performed at least 24 hours before your appointment.  

You should allow 2hrs 30 mins for your initial appointment . We will identify a pigment colour that is suited to you. Each set will be designed and agreed with every client before the procedure starts  using our measuring tools and a brow equipment. Once you are happy with the pre draw we will then begin tattooing your brows. We will sit you up throughout the treatment to ensure symmetry and to touch up any areas that we need to before completing the brows. It is important to be aware that you may not always get the desired results from.

Your first treatment this is why it is important to schedule a 6-8 week top up session. 

Pain is minimal as numbing cream is applied. A secondary numbing is used throughout the procedure to minimise any discomfort. Most clients compare the  treatment to having their eyebrows threaded, whilst most clients fall asleep during the procedure.  

You must contact us with clear photos first before booking an appointment if you have old PMU performed by another artist.  

It isn’t always possible to cover over pre existing permanent makeup (PMU) which has been done elsewhere. If the brows have dark visible pigment adding more pigment to them can make the brow area look unflattering and even cause scarring. however if the old pigment has significantly faded you may be able to have a cover up with ombre brows. 

It is completely normal for your eyebrows to get dry then scab & flake. You MUST NOT scratch or pick the treated area, as scarring and infections are likely to occur as a result of doing so. Your eyebrows will appear darker for the first 3 days, after which they will gradually fade as they heal. Whilst your eyebrows are healing it may look as though all pigment has been lost whilst the new skin heals over your eyebrows. Do not panic this is totally normal. The pigment will resurface in a few weeks after your treatment. Some small areas of the brow tattoo may be slightly lighter which is why it is very important to have your 6-8 week top up to perfect and complete the brows. 

*Please be aware that additional top ups may be required for some clients. Additional Tops ups will be charged.  

Do not consume any Alcohol, Caffeine, Ibuprofen or any other blood thinners on the day of your appointment as These can all affect your treatment and colour retention.

Bleeding can also occur throughout your treatment which can affect the results of your eyebrows.

Good aftercare is vital to reduce the risk of infections.

Gym, Saunas and sunbeds should be avoided for 7-10 days whilst your eyebrows are healing to obtain maximum results. If you are planning a holiday you should wait 14 days before your holiday to have your eyebrows tattooed and ensure you apply factor 50 daily whilst in the sun.
